San Francisco (Briefly) and Point Reyes

Our final day of fun in California took us through San Francisco to see the Golden Gate Bridge, and Point Reyes National Seashore, along the Pacific Coast.

We left Mariposa and headed to San Francisco. The traffic was horrible going over the Bay Bridge, but I knew it would be. So after driving past Fisherman's Wharf we crossed the Golden Gate Bridge, and stopped on the other side to take pictures.

There was lots of activity in the water: sail boats, power boats, fishing boats, cargo ships, etc. After the bridge we headed to Point Reyes National Seashore. The park is host to a myriad of wildlife including elephant and harbor seals. Sadly, I only glimpsed these creatures from afar as they were swimming in the ocean.

BW was able to get closer to these animals, hopefully her pictures will turn out. The night saw us in Fairfield at the Holiday Inn Select, and the following morning we were back on a plane bound for home.
