Cooking in the Kitchen with Mrs. Woltman

Sometimes the human body needs food. Sometimes Jen is the one who makes the food. Sometimes I take pictures of it. Sometimes you can view those pictures. This is one of those times.

And she cooks up some fantastic items. The pictures below are usually of "first try" recipes, and I think they're all good. Some of the recipes are from the site Fatfree Vegan, but I think most are out of Colleen Patrick-Goudreau's The Vegan Table. Colleen has also written The Joy of Vegan Baking which Jen and I have used to make tasty desserts. The chocolate chip cookie recipe is indistinguishable from Nestle's traditional Toll House recipe. And while Jen would never say it, the recipes in these books prove that if you think that a meatless, cheeseless diet is dry and boring, you're probably a moron.
