We were only in Clifden long enough to eat (which was fine by me, it didn't seem very exciting), but the drive to our B&B was great. The road was very, very narrow most of the way, but there was a small pull-off where we parked to take in the scenery. The view was stunning, I could see for miles, and look down to see the B&B. It was getting late in the day and the sun's light gave the Atlantic a silvery shimmer.
