Giant's Causeway...

...was built by Finn McCool as a way to reach his lady on the island of Steffa. That's what the local legend says anyways. The Giant's Causeway is actually a field of basalt columns, mostly hexagonal in shape. You're allowed to climb on them, and its quite easy as they are staggered like stairs. The usual limpets and snails inhabit the columns near the high tide lines. There is also a cliff walk with powerful crosswinds, and which offered a great view of the Causeway and the surrounding countryside.

While I was there I had a Chinese guy ask me to take a picture for him, and I did so. For the rest of the day at the Causeway he'd keep popping up. There is an Oriental tradition that if you save a man's life you are responsible for him forver; I wonder if that's been extended to photography?
